History of the Henryk Glinkowski's carriages

 The history of the “Horse carriages Henryk Glinkowski” dates back to 1956, when Mr. Walenty Kolak opened a craftsman shop. Its main activities comprised of blacksmith services for local stud farms and farmers, and carriages in co-operation with other craftsmen.

In 1983, the firm was taken over by Mr. Henryk Glinkowski, Kolak’s son-in-law. At the beginning of the 80s the small shop produced approximately 25 carriages per year.

 In 1989 the company achieved a major milestone in exporting carriages to the Western European markets. In order to satisfy the ever-growing demand, and to continuously improve quality, the newest technologies and highly skilled workers were acquired.

In 1997 the company purchased a former nursery and transformed the property into a modern manufacturing facility to meet the production needs of the 21st century.

The 160 dedicated employees of “Horse carriages Henryk Glinkowski” produce over 1,600 carriages per year.
